While we enjoyed our time in Honduras we were tired of the rain. The border welcomed us along with the Rotarians from Chiquimula, Guatemala. We were met at the border and shown a few of the sites on our way to Town.After dropping our stuff at the hotel - we went to see Iglisia Santisima Trinidad. It is a great
church. It was destroyed several times by earthquakes. The first time being in 1765. After the last time it was destroyed they did not rebuild it. They are currently doing some basic work to structure. They are trying to make it strong so that it doesn't become any worse.

The Chiquimula Rotary Club greeting us with a nice dinner. After which we all went home to rest 
for a busy day tomorrow.
